Fathima Arts and Science College, Moothedam, under the initiative of FACE (Fathima Academic Centre for Excellence) in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), organized a NAAC Onboarding Session on 26 February 2026 at 1:30 PM in the Seminar Hall.
The session was conducted as part of the institution’s continuous efforts to strengthen quality assurance practices and enhance preparedness for NAAC accreditation processes.
The program commenced with a prayer.
The Welcome Address was delivered by Dr. Najiya Beegum T P, IQAC Coordinator, who warmly greeted the gathering and highlighted the significance of NAAC onboarding in the present academic context. She emphasized the need for collective responsibility and systematic documentation in achieving excellence in higher education.
The Presidential Address was delivered by Rev. Fr. Dr. Shibin P. James, Principal, who underscored the importance of quality benchmarks, institutional commitment, and strategic planning in the era of educational reforms. He encouraged faculty members to actively participate in quality enhancement measures and to align their academic and administrative practices with NAAC standards.
The keynote session was led by Dr. Anas E, Associate Professor & IQAC Coordinator, MES Mampad College (Autonomous), who served as the Resource Person for the program.
He delivered an insightful and comprehensive presentation on the topic.

The session was highly interactive, with faculty members actively engaging in discussions and clarifying their queries regarding NAAC documentation, criteria-wise preparation, and institutional best practices.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Krishnapriya P, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry, who expressed sincere gratitude to the resource person, the principal, the IQAC team, faculty members, and all those who contributed to the successful organization of the session.
