The Department of Mathematics started in the year 2017. The faculty of the department of mathematics are competent and work tirelessly to help students to learn basics along with the areas in the domain of mathematics. The students are educated with a strong foundation in mathematics. The curriculum lays a strong foundation in core areas of algebra, real analysis, complex analysis, numerical analysis, linear programming, and calculus. A pool of choices in elective courses gives flexibility to the students to opt for his/her choice.
I strongly believe that learning mathematics is crucial so that our students will achieve a good level of mastery of mathematics that will enable them to function effectively in everyday life. We ensure our students are effective problem solvers. The main objective of the department is to pursue high- quality education, to train young minds to nurture their skills in mathematics, and to serve the needs of the society and apply the knowledge of mathematics to produce technology for daily use.
Vision
The mathematic department aims to be recognised for academic excellence through the depth of teaching and innovative ideas. The learners can apply their mathematical knowledge for problem solving and exploring other subjects by using multiple representations of the mathematical content.
Mission
The students are motivated to upgrade their interest in contemporary mathematical techniques and strengthening their analytical thinking.
