The Computer Science department was established to meet computer professionals to scope with the challenges in the IT industry. In Fathima Arts and Science College the Department of Computer Science was started with the BSc Computer Science course in 2013. This undergraduate course spans six semesters and is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in computing principles, programming, and problem-solving skills essential for addressing technological challenges in today’s world. The department also offers complimentary papers like mathematics and statistics.

In this fast-growing technology era, a B Sc in Computer Science has a significant role in acting as a feeder course for higher studies in computer science and applications.

Our faculty members and staff are dedicated to providing our students with the highest quality education in the latest technology and providing the support needed to produce talented graduates in the fields of computer science.

Welcome to the Department of Computer Science. Our goal is to provide students with good knowledge and skills in computer science and modern technology. We focus on both theory and practical learning to help students succeed in their careers. Our teachers are always ready to support and guide students in their studies, projects, and research. We also encourage students to think creatively, solve problems, and work with honesty and teamwork. Eligibility:

Students must have qualified 10+2 from Kerala HSE Board or an equivalent board recognized by the university.

Facilities:

Computer Scienece Lab A well equipped computer lab with 15 computers working on both Windows and Linux based platforms.

Alumni

The Computer Science Alumni association was formed on 11th jan 2019. President and Secretary of the association are elected on the same year.
